The goal of this web site is to promote the enhancement of Quality of Life -- as empowered by informed choice. Secondary goals include facilitating the art and science of online learning and communication.

The primary audience for this web site is empowered consumers -- individuals interested in taking charge of their lives, and the lives of those they give care -- and provide these consumers with the tools to help guide their way. The secondary audience is healthcare and information professionals with an interest in issues such as knowledge management, change management, information taxonomy, etc.

The metrics of success are indirection --- how do we measure how many people we have helped? How many people were not helped? Qualitatively, many of the online health resources appear to be useful in getting people ask questions, take charge of their quality of life, and share their experiences with others. Quantiatively...well that is another question.

CareLife is a private organization formed to bring together technology and a detailed knowledge of medicine, clinical care and molecular biology -- to people interested in cancer and other chronic health concerns.
